Please sign the petition below and pay homage to a selfless struggle for the release of loved-ones: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Sir, I want to urge you to pay tribute to the 4 years tireless struggles of Amina Masood Janjua, whose husband Masood Janjua was Enforced Disappeared on 30th July 2005. Ever since she has not rested and has become a strong dedicated voice for the ‘disappeared’. Also spear heading a group of victim families of the Enforce Disappeared (DHRPK) in Chief Justice of He was about to give his legal statement in the Supreme.Court but Emergency was imposed in 3rd Nov 2007 thus sabotaging the whole judiciary and stopping the proceedings. Amina had also filed hundreds of cases of Enforced Disappeared Pakistanis in the Supreme Court which are still denied of Justice. Even after the restoration of pre Nov 2nd 07 Judiciary old and new cases of Enforced Disappeared are not fixed thousand of honorable Pakistanis and their families continued to suffer in a limbo. Amina did not give up and continued her dignified struggle .She met the President and the Prime Minister and all the high ups in the corridor of power. Wrote letters to head of the state and foreign offices of US, Sent applications to all the world renowned Human Rights Organization like ,UN, Human Right watch, Amnesty International and Cage Prisoners etc.Carrying the immense grief of a forced separation with her “ Loving Husband”, Amina carried out hundreds of protest demonstrations all over the country, held countless press conferences ,Seminars and Rallies. Traveled to half of the world i.e. to All these years of turmoil, stress and endless endeavors Amina and her 3 kids suffered emotional, mental, physical, psychological and economic crises. In one of the protest on 28th Dec 2006 Amina’s teenage boys were beaten and humiliated on the road by the police ( see youtube: missinginpakistan documentary). Her 9 year old daughter Aishah fainted while pleaded for mercy and begging to spare her brothers. Amina herself collapsed while addressing in a demonstration outside Supreme Court on complaints of asthma, low blood pressure, Heart-ache swollen legs and blistered feets. (see www.dhrpk.org.) But even then the conscience of the world remained unshaken and justice denied to Masood and his family. Dear Sir, 30th July 2005 marks the beginning of a great struggle; symbolic of an immortal love of a wife for her husband. I urge you to honor the heartbreaking struggles of proud Pakistan Woman; Amina Masood Janjua by awarding the freedom of her husband before the coming Eid of Ramazan. I urge you to mark Eid day as a day of delivering justice to Masood Janjua and to all those Enforced Disappeared like him in the notorious underground detention centers of the world. Dear sir kindly play your role for Justice, Rule of law and Human Rights ,let history engrave your name with pride for uniting broken families and recall Eid day.as the day of “Freedom” for the thousands of Enforced Disappeared loved-ones.
