30-Nov-2011: The team of Defence of Human Rights was invited by the Principal, staff and administration of the Ghazi e Millat school. Chairperson Defence of Human Rights, Amina Masood Janjua was to preside at the occasion and give away the prizes. Member of Kashmir Council and MLA Sardar Sagheer Chughtai was the chief Guest.The children presented beautiful and bold performances which appealed to the guests and won applause. The mission statement and progress report was given by the principal Madame Shahida, it showed her hard work and dedication for the cause of education.
Amina Masood Janjua stated in her address the need for institutions like Ghazi e Millat school which can not only impart knowledge but also groom the up coming generations according to the golden principals of Islam. She said that Islam stresses the importance of learning so much so that it says one should continue to learn from cradle to grave. The children of Ghazi e Millat have taught us a brilliant message today that is to take a stand for learning in spite of all the difficulties and challenges.
