I am Amina Masood Janjua struggling for the release of abducted missing people by Intelligence agencies, a victim myself because my husband Masood Ahmed Janjua is Missing like this since 30 July, 05 Defence of Human Rights is the group we have formed to fight for this cause. For Enforced Disappeared persons, in Pakistan, Kashmir, Palestine, Argentina, Columbia or any where in the world we will be raising a determined voice asking justice for All.
There are 500 cases of Enforced Disappeared in Supreme Court of Pakistan, I was representing them before the emergency imposed in Pakistan on 3rd Nov, 07. Now Justice is denied to them and all the main Judges and lawyers are house arrested. I being a woman and a victim know much more what are sorrows and grief of forcefully separated families. Nearly 3 years of my personal trauma of missing husband, coping with torture, desperation and grief could not make me bitter ,instead it only increased my love for Masood and for the suffering humanity. It only gave me more strength to continue this struggle for Justice.
All over the world women are asking for their rights, asking to be united with their loved ones. This is what DHR aims to do, unite families and make the world a beautiful place.
For women and their families belonging to different Nationalities now working as immigrates in USA. I feel for them with my whole heart. I want to show solidarity with them and demand special privileges and softer laws, for they too are separated because of economic crises, social and political pressures .Please never lose hope just hang on and we can shake the world.
We women have always formed societies and protected them. We are now determined more than ever to work for peace and tranquility of families by uniting loved ones and as a result contributing for a beautiful peaceful world for our future generations.
