EXHIBITION BY MISSING PERSON’S FAMILIES.

Independence_day_candle_lit_campIn connection with campaign “Release before Ramazan” the families appeal to the government from the bottom of their heart to release their missing loved ones.

Aggrieved families of missing persons along with their children displayed love and gratitude for their homeland in a unique manner.

DSC02044 - ThumbThe Demonstration for the immediate release of Missing Persons of Pakistan was held by the joint effort of JI , PPF and DHR in the parade ground Jinnah Avenue Islamabad on 29th of April 09 at 5pm. The families of Missing Persons brought beautiful doves with them which they freed at the closing of the demo, symbolizing the freeing of their loved ones.

Registrar of Supreme Court of Pakistan met the chairperson of Defence of Human Rights(DHRPK) and showed his concern aver the cases of Missing persons in response of the Missing Persons Campaign of four day camp held for the immediate release of "ALL MISSING PERSONS".

Gauntanamo 1 - Thumb Defence of Human Rights Pakistan Urges All Human Rights Organizations to Play Their Role in Convening the Immediate Release of Gauntanamo Detainees

Abdul Raheem son of Ghulam Rabbani is one of the eight Gauntanamo detainees so far left in Gauntanamo, belonging to Pakistan. He was a business man in Karachi when he and his brother both were picked up on 9/11 2002 and handed over to the U.S since then they are languishing in the Cuban island prison called Gauntanamo.
